I offer developmental editing, content editing, copy editing and proofreading services. All editing/proofreading services will include track changes and suggestions for:

  • spelling/grammar
  • punctuation
  • word choice
  • flow/readability
  • repetition/redundancy

I will also add light commentary and notes if needed.

Rates

Rates vary with the degree of effort as follows:

Basic copyediting5-10 pages/hr$30-$40/hr
Heavy copyediting2-5 pages/hr$40-$50/hr
Website copyediting$40-$50/hr
Developmental editing1-5 pages/hr$45-$55/hr
Substantive or line editing1-6 pages/hr$40-$60/hr

Deadlines for work completion are discussed on a case by case basis, but basic copy editing is typically completed within three days and heavy and website copyediting is done between five to seven days on average.
